PDX runway closure to turn up the neighborhood volume this weekend

Beginning this afternoon, the south runway at Portland International Airport will be temporarily closed for maintenance work on an adjacent taxiway. Air traffic will be diverted to the north and crosswind runways “causing a temporary change to the flight paths and noise experienced by neighbors,” according to Port officials
